I don't like who my pitchers are going up against this week, but I do like seeing that Peavy and Liriano only have 1 start each.

Don't count on it happening again. My pitchers are so off and on this year, it's unreal. I hate having to throw Sheets today vs the Mets!

yeah, i need a nice 4 point outing out of him today. uggla, as usual, is the key to my team. he can put up a 30 point week or a 2.75 point week.

I'm quite pleased to see RJ implode during my off week. Also happy that Brandon Webb took a dump last night while I had a big enough lead. Those negative points will be very beneficial come keeper selection time.

 

I think I'd kind of like to see the Dodgers slip past Arizona in the West. I'd much rather face a combination of Billingsley, Lowe and Kuroda rather than face Webb, Haren and RJ.

He had what, 55 pitches and 1 hit through 5. He's known to pitch a complete game or two. How is that a reach? I said could have...not would have.

Actually that would be a good thing. How something affects the Cubs is infinitely more important than how it affects your fantasy team.

it's not really worth arguing about, but you make it sound like you just got robbed of 20 points. as we all know, a lot can happen between inning six and inning nine, and we've all seen good starts go bad real fast. he could have just as easily given up three runs over the next two innings...he didn't have any k's, so it doesn't sound like he was blowing anyone away.

 

in any event, not a real good start to this week for me.

not really. the cubs don't even have to pay attention to the brewers. the only team that matters is the team behind the brewers in the WC race.

I'll take the fan club but I was in the championship game last year. Lost to abuck as three of my aces (Beckett, Lackey, Sabathia) all were rested and threw like 3 innings apiece that week. :x

 

I'm only down 27.5 - 16.5 after one day while Tim's down 2 starts. I'll take it. Lincecum throwing today, I hope I can get a big game.

yeah, if i don't win it, i'll be pulling for alamo. we were both short-handed in the championship week, but i was really lucky to get some big starts on the last day of the season (if i remember right) to come from behind and win.
