Minnesota is done if they can't even beat Seattle

 

the cubs lost a game to the nationals.

 

The Twins lost 2/3 to the Mariners earlier in the month, and the first 2 to the Mariners in this series.

 

They did sweep them in Minny in between, but thats 4-4 vs. the worst team in the AL in the span of a month, and 1-4 in Seattle.

Granted we're pretty clearly better than the Twins, but the Nats are pretty clearly worse than the Mariners.

True, I guess I'm just frustrated because they are the only chance to unseat the White Sox in the Central, and these are the easiest games they have during a tough month and they are blowing it.

I'm beginning to accept the White Sox are going to the playoffs. It almost doesn't seem fair considering they wanted Jerry Owens to be their everyday CF with Quentin on the bench/in AAA.
