Rick Ankiel turns a single into a triple

Hanley at 3rd no one out!

And they don't score. The Florida Marlins quest to become the most annoying franchise in baseball history continues.

the pathetic marlins.... 3rd and no one out and they can't hit a ball to the outfield.... interesting. Oh well 6.5 back it's not the Cardinals can beat us in a series anyways.

lmao lead off walk to ugly in the bottom caught stealing 2nd on a 1-0 count and he had only thrown 2 strikes... what were they trying to pull a pathetic hit and run? Wow Marlins

White Sox show a replay of Uribe going on a check swing. Darrin Jackson calls it a terrible call. Harrelson say he did not go. I mean, how do you do that with a straight face?

The same way you call a major league ballgame by essentially using a soundboard of corn-fed clichéd sayings? It is Hawk.

To be fair, he did invent most of those cliches.

Regardless, I maintain that you could cobble together a Harrelson soundboard containing his list of Hawkisms (can o' corn, cinch 'em up and hunker down now, chopper two-hopper, put it on the board, etc) and play the soundbites randomly and still have something that would largely resemble a live broadcast. He's just terrible.

And out in LA, Manny Ramirez delays the start of the top of the 9th as it takes 5 minutes for him to finally emerge from the tunnel and scurry out to left field.

Guys, we really should be rooting for the Cardinals at this point.

They're not passing us, but they *might* pass the Brewers.

I know it's likely that somebody else has already said this, but the Brewers sweep over the Nationals had to be one of the most predictable four-game sweeps ever.

Which means, if the Cubs don't sweep the Nationals later this month, I will be ticked...
