Anyone else catch the Royals-White Sox game?

DJ Carrasco starts getting wild with the bases loaded and the White Sox down 5. Carrasco hits one guy and then proceeds to hit Miguel Olivo. Olivo charges the mound, Pierzynski holds Olivo back, and someone for the Royals punches AJP in the head while he was holding Olivo back.

After the game, Ozzie said he'd never bring Carrasco in to hit someone since Carrasco throws 85 mph and Ozzie has guys in the bullpen who can throw a lot harder than that.

The highlights of this one were fun.

It's gotten even worse since with his ludicrous dyed hair he now legitimately looks like a gay Backstreet Boy. Except ugly.

Ozzie said he wouldn't bring in someone who throws an 82 mph fastball to throw a purpose pitch.

Replays showed all three pitches high and tight were 91 mph.

Of course he told his guy to do it. It just makes it that much worse when you try to deny it.

That goes for Yost too.

Sox were down six.

Carrasco only hit one batter...Olivo. Threw first pitch way inside...next hit off the end of the bat/Olivo's hands....third one got him.

AJ was hit in the head by Olivo as he was flailing to get loose and Luis Silverio pulled him away. Came close to clocking Ozzie.

Bottom line is, Sox started this stuff in their first series with the Royals this season where they hit six batters in a three game series. Seems to be a multitude of Royals HBP when these two teams play this season. Was happy to see the Royals in a position on the scoreboard to retaliate when Greinke hit Swisher. Could be a fun series next week in Chicago.

And fat.

Don't forget fat.

I was thinking he looks like some really bad Billy Idol wannabe. I'd punch him too, just on principle. 8-)

One of the worst "fights" ever. The batter stopped way short, clearly expecting to get held back before throwing a punch, so he goes into some old timey boxing stance, and the pitcher starts hissy-slapping.

LOL, they can't even do a bench clearing brawl right.

He slimmed down this year. He's slimmer than Geo.

The umpire should have warned Carrasco after the second pitch. I know you don't want to warn people too soon, but as we saw two weeks ago, things can get out of hand real quick.

Yesterday Ozzie said that Carrasco wouldn't have hit Olivio because he doesn't throw hard enough. But a few weeks ago he brought Carrasco in to intentionally hit someone and admitted it. Hmmmm.......
