You gotta wonder what is next for Rich Hill. Showed too much success to just release him. I would consider just shutting him down for the year as whatever small hope the Cubs had of a contribution from him this year is completely gone now.

You gotta wonder what is next for Rich Hill. Showed too much success to just release him. I would consider just shutting him down for the year as whatever small hope the Cubs had of a contribution from him this year is completely gone now.

 

Might as well shut him down. Really don't need him at this point in the season. Even if he were to contribute for us late in the regular season, there's no way the Cubs would even consider giving him a spot on the playoff roster.

Ok, I followed the 2004 season from start to finish, but I HAVE NO IDEA WHO JIMMY ANDERSON IS.

 

He was a member of the scrub trio the Cubs had to bring up midseason (SS Rey Ordonez and OF Dave Kelton were the other two).
