OK, I caved...I just turned the game on.

Brewers up 4-3? I don't think I'm being my usual pessimistic self when I say with Sheets and Sabathia going the next 2 days, if we don't get our heads out of our butts, we could start the weekend in second place.

Label me how you want, but at this point in time, I'm pretty much counting on that scenario being the case.

Cubs can't score and are having the most horrible luck ever. Somebody needs to salt and burn that damned goat!!

D'Backs get to use regular balls. Cubs are using balls that have been in a humidor for a couple weeks.

Maybe they crank the AC up way high during the top halves of the innings in order to blow the ball down.

Is that actually possible?

Houston used to do it in the Astrodome.

Placed in the same situation (1st and 2nd one out), what will Arizona do? I'm almost positive it will be more than we did.

I'm seriously lacking ideas here. The Cubs have hit some balls this series that should have been HRs, yet they end up on the warning track.

This is demoralizing.

Just about ready to go make a HyVee run or something. Anything's better than watching this team implode before our eyes.

Marquis sucks. Also, I love having a 2nd baseman in the outfield. Has worked out wonderfully for us this season.

Oh, look, a hit that scores an ACTUAL RUN. You mean you can score in Baseball? If the Cubs don't win this game, I want Lou to seriously go off. He kind of did yesterday but it wasn't an all out, Lou meltdown.

Sorry for being a bummer guys, but I began preparing myself for 2nd place after those first 2 losses after the all star break and right now I'm glad I did.
