The Cubs are the most talented and deepest team in the NL. They may be bad right now, and they might absolutely suck balls on the road, but eventually they will play better. They might not end up making the playoffs, but there is no way they are tanking.

Our definition of "tanking" is different.

I want Lou to get pissed off after this game. Soriano or no Soriano, we shouldnt be 20-28 on the road and we shouldn't be 8-11 over our last 19 games.

You guys can rip on me all you want, but I really do think this team is going to tank hard. Seen this too many GD times.

What do past teams (with completely different players) have to do with this team?

You must be young.

What kind of answer was that? What do past teams have to do with this team? Do you believe in curses? Santa Claus? Monsters?

He misinterpreted your post

It is going to hurt so bad to watch both the Brewers and Cardinals pass us.

Today's wins/loss still have to happen 3-4 more times. Not saying it won't happen at some point, but I don't think it'll be this week, i.e. 4-5 Cub losses in a row.

I hope.

I remember when we laughed at the Brewers for sucking so badly on the road last year when we were decent...but I'm not laughing now.

It does have that bad feeling to it.

I believe in added pressure that comes with hearing about curses and 100 years every day of the season. And if you think it doesn't, you are extremely naive. I hope they prove me wrong but 69, 77, 84, 03 and 04 tell me differently.

I guess I just don't get why we are so bad on the road this year. We aren't that much different of a team this year....last year we finished what 40-41 on the road?

No, no its the day games at Wrigley. Too hard to get adjusted to these night games on the road.

Just came across this on YouTube...

I'm pretty sure that's Pie on the left, can't make anyone else out though.
