I have the channel already... it's just kind of a preview. They're just cycling between a special on the 2004 Red Sox playoff run, the 2005 White Sox playoff run, and then some highlight show called "Baseball's Epic Moments" or something like that.

Wow I've found my new favorite channel. I just turned it on for the first time to see what kind of programming they're running, and I already can't stop watching. Even the preview show is interesting. It looks as if they're really trying to make Harold Reynolds the face of the network, though, which could really annoy me. Other than that, MLB Tonight will be an 8 hour nightly show with live look-ins and analysis. I can't wait.

I've got it on the expanded basic package on Channel 84 on Charter in SE Wisconsin. I'm pumped, but I'm sure my wife will be less than thrilled.

 

I'm going to watch it with my son around, make sure he knows the fundamentals of the game, and that he knows what a beautiful game it truly is.

Are y'all excited about the long awaited arrival of the MLB Network, like I am? I have waited a long time for a network like this one. Tonight they are going to rebroadcast Larsen's perfect game --I can't wait. On Direct TV, it's on channel 213.

the beauty of DirecTV is that for the 4+ years I've had it, I've never had to deal with the channel controversies. Big Ten Network, NFL Network, MLB.....all part of the standard lineup.
