I wish we only played 3 games a year against the White Sox. Even before we began this disaster of a weekend, I was not really excited for this series at all. 6 times in a span of 10 days is just too much.

It's not the losing so much that gets me - I like to think I'm level-headed enough to realize that the team is banged up right now and just not playing well and aren't actually this bad - it's the dealing with the disgusting Sox fans.

I really don't know what to expect with this team any more.

Some days it seems like they're the best team in baseball. The offense can mash, the pitching can be stellar, and everything just seems to click.

But then you get games like we've seen in the Rays, Orioles, and this series where this team is acting like it's 2006 again. I can't figure it out.

Watching Scott Linebrink pitch makes me so mad as a Brewer fan.

The past few years, the White Sox have pulled way too many players off the scrap heap and made stars out of them. Im not saying, Im just saying.

Like who?

I wouldn't say Linebrink was off the scrap heap either.

Gavin Floyd, Carlos Quentin

Carlos Quentin was not picked up off the scrap heap.

I still would rather have Chris Young.

Good thing they didn't trade Young for him :-"

Maybe Marshall, but I cant see Gallagher going anywhere unless a top of the line starter comes in return.

they'll need to make a decision on which sean stays in the rotation on friday when Z returns. think they'll stick with gallagher over marshall?

i wonder if they'll try sending marshall to the pen again with eyre on the dl. hope not, but i guess it's a possibility.

even though gallagher has done an awesome job I think it might be smart to send gallagher down to maybe help limit his innings for September.

I hear what you're saying, but I also think gallagher needs to stay on a starting routine. it wasn't a good idea to sit him for 9 days and expect him to be sharp. now that's he thrown 120 pitches, he's got to be on a short leash his next outing. the one thing that bugs me with lou is when he overmanages the rotation.

In the end, it's like the same old Cubs every year

This team is not good to begin with on the road so far this year. Take out a few starters and it is worse. Also, this team looks very tired right now.

I actually know, but we were talking about the Sox getting good players...they let a good one go.

Pretty pathetic if they are tied. They've had quite a few off days the last 2 weeks including a day off between home series.

Chris Young is good? He's hitting .236.
