Certainly not ideal. It'll take Ascanio at least a few more outings to get back into a routine. 12 days is a long time off, most of which were due to travel difficulties out of Venezuela.

I don't remember how long ago it was, but it was pointed out that he had a string of "bad" outings down there where he did fine for 1 innings, but then crapped it when he was stretched for 2.

I agree totally, he looked great. I'm hoping my opinion here on NSBB has gotten a little respect, and one guy I will fight for is Asciano.
