Is this team scared of going 21 games over? It seems like they crap the bed every time they get back to 20 games over.

Why does it matter what A.J. wants? Is he the one making trades?

 

Judging by Ricciardi's comments on it, I'd say Burnett spekaing out ended up hurting his chances of going to the Cubs. Ricciardi is the type of guy that would avoid trading him to the Cubs just so he doesn't make Burnett happy.
