Happy Hill day, everyone.

I'm not expecting a whole lot considering he'll be pitching on 9 days rest, but I'm glad he'll be back on the mound.

You mean Jose Ascanio, not Jose Severino.

Ascanion hasn't pitched since last Saturday.

I typed out Ascanio.

Does your computer then auto-correct for names of players on either the Mesa or Boise rosters before you manually edit it back?

Wouldn't surprise me, though. That computer of yours knows you too well.

UGH. fly out on a 0-1 pitch, then a walk on a 3-2 count, throwing error on a pickoff moves the runner to 2nd, wild pitch moves him to third, then that batter is HBP on a 3-1 count. five pitch walk loads the bases.

:x :x :x

hey, SIX consecutive strikes to the opposing pitcher (3 on foul balls) for a strikeout! (but there's a wild pitch on the K)

another run singled in and it's 6-0

Hill couldn't escape the first. He was pulled after recording only 2 outs.

0.2 IP, 3 H, 6 ER, 4 BB, 1 K, 1 HBP, 2 WPs, 45 pitches, 23 strikes

He's responsible for the runners on first and third.

Looks like we won't be seeing Hill on the Major League team anytime soon. He's also killing his trade value.

Colvin has a double and a walk in 3 plate appearances thus far. Not a good outing for Russell: 4.2 IP, 5 R(4 ER), 5 H, 0/3 K/BB, 2 HR, and a fielding error.

Marquez Smith with a double for Peoria, although he has left the game(injury?). Chen has been strong through 6 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 6/0 K/BB, 0 HR.
