fuller looks pretty good too. Gatens has been off and on lately but I'm not worried about him.

 

Hopefully they don't tire these last 3 games, because I think they have a good chance at all of them.

Also who knows how many we could have won if we realized Kelly can play PG.

 

Damn lucky that Kelly didn't follow Alford to New Mexico (which almost happened IIRC).

Mizzou smoked Kansas State by 20 in stage 1 of Operation: Keep kansas from winning the Big 12. Mizzou's now avenged both their conference losses with victories of 20+ points. Stage 2 comes Sunday where we will hopefully lose by only about 15 or so in Lawrence.

No Kelly never wavered a bit. In fact I think he was the first to re-affirm his commitment. Gary bolted right away and asked for his release. Kelly was familiar with Lickliter and staff because they recruited him to Butler. Cole wanted to stay with Iowa but didn't make it official until after Lickliter came down and visited with he and his family.

Fuller has some really nice potential when he adds some strength. He can be that 4 who can rebound and defend while being a matchup problem for other teams in this system.

 

Gatens is just feeling the effects of playing enormous minutes as a freshman and having to play them out of position while undersized.

Really wish Tucker wouldn't have missed a year of development in the Big Ten.

jeez, how many extar chances t=did minnesota get because we can't rebound at all? seriously? i want to throw something through my front window because we never get the ball off the shot, never. we maybe got 2 rebounds in the first half.

 

that's why we get an assist on every basket, because we get no second chance opportunities.

You're right on the number of positive comments, but I'm guessing you were talking about my Theriot comment. That was not positive.
