i've barely watched either team but it seems just like the bulls, the illini have one player that is fun to watch and a bunch of meh.

 

mike davis could be a player, though. wait for legion, as well.

That post is relevant because of all the Pac 10 fanboys on this board constantly pumping sunshine about how great the conference is.

 

Next you can explain the rocket science behind how a 16 team conference ends up with a lot of good teams.

 

Because the Big East was built to be a basketball powerhouse. After they lost Va Tech, Miami, and Boston College, every team they added (save South Florida) had a strong basketball program.

Eh, I was fine with that for those first 2 games. It's against a couple of nobodies, and sends a message. He was back when it mattered.

Ya, and USC just lost to pretty much the 14th or 15th best one.

How's all that worked out for the football side to the conference?
