shipp having a crappy night.

Collison is having a worse game.

Told you guys this would happen.

I am stunned.

I told you guys this could easily happen.

The team absolutely needs to realize Shipp is a complimentary player and he should be the third option behind Collison and Holliday. Holliday is the best player on the team, he needs to touch the ball more.

no foul on that final 3?

He was fouled before the 3 when he was spinning around, couldn't tell on the shot

That was a foul, but if you're UCLA it shouldn't come to that.

Why not? This isn't the #4 team in the country.

Maybe not but I don't think Michigan is that good.

The Ben Howland patented craptacular offensive game. The guy can flat out coach a man to man defense but UCLA has wayyyy too manny scoring droughts given their talent level.

thank god

Duke would have beaten UCLA by 20, why would you be worried?

They're not. Howland coached teams can't solve a zone. Beilein owns him.

I'm just pissed that Jrue is clearly the best player on the team and he had 2 shots in the second half. He needs to be more like Love last year and not worry what toes he's stepping on. Josh Shipp is absolutely not a #2 option on a top 15 team. Plus this team has NO inside presence. I don't know that you can say this is Howland's fault.

The last few years UCLA would go through scoring droughts. I suppose every college team does but I don't know if any other top team puts as much pressure on itself to play 40 minutes of great defense.

And I agree about Holliday. He's very smooth and probably needs more freedom to create his own shot. Sadly, he seems a lot further along than Derozan :/

I think part of that the offensive issues is that UCLA never had solid offensive options 1-5 (Mata, Mbah a Moute, Bozeman have all been black holes in the offense). Also, Collison is not a very aggressive point guard and his passing is suspect (especially compared to Farmar, Westbrook and now Holiday) which really derails this offense.

Was Derozan hurt in the second half? I like his game a lot, he'll turn it on soon enough, don't worry.
