Signed to a minor league deal in April, Kline went 0-2 with a 5.16 ERA and 16/8 K/BB ratio in 22 2/3 innings at Triple-A. At 35 years old, his big league career may be over.

Scott Eyre is argubly throwing his best ball of his career. And Cotts IMO, should be a decent complimentary lefty. So there is NO NEED to add a third X-Card to the Cubs.
