Interesting pitcher's duel developing in San Diego. Estes has a no-hitter through 4 (only an Adrian Gonzalez error has ruined the perfect game) and Volquez has 7 strikeouts through 3.

And it gets even more interesting. Estes' no-no is going and Volquez has 9 K's through 4 but they're in a rain delay. I can't wait for Dusty to bring Volquez back after an hour and a half delay and have him throw 110 pitches. Or just have him throw 110+ just because. He's at 63 through 4 innings.

Estes's no-no actually got broken up right before the delay with a Hairston single.

And it will be interesting to see if Volquez comes back. They decided to not bring him back the last time there was a rain delay like this when he was at 75 pitches, but that was also only his 2nd start of the year as well.

I find it obnoxious that Ludwick runs the bases like Rolen after a home run.

You mean with his head down? What's obnoxious about not staring at your home runs and simply trotting around the bases?

Anyone else wonder what it would be like wearing a Cardinals' uniform? It's like you're guaranteed to become superhuman after putting on the uniform. The only downfall is you have to worry about becoming a drunk.

From my experiences this year - cubs fans are pretty drunk too.

Who said anything about the fans?

I really don't know why I said that Estes' no-no was still going on. I looked at game day and saw that both the Padres and Reds had one hit and yet I still typed that Estes had a no-no going. And I had yet to even start drinking.
