It seems like the NL is finally closing the gap on the AL after a long drought...does anyone have the totals after round one of interleage play?

I'm under the belief that the AL has a greater advantage over the NL at AL ballparks than the NL has over the AL in NL ballparks.

Boy ... what a confusing sentence that was. Hopefully you guys will understand what it means.

Lol. You mean the home teams usually have the advantage, but the AL's home field advantage is more significant?

Bingo. This makes sense, as the difference between AL DH and NL top bench player is greater than the difference between mediocre-at-best-hitting pitchers(NL) and automatic out pitchers(AL).

Even if the DH is able to play the field in NL ballparks, there is a difference between the AL's 9th hitter (the person who gets benched in interleague games, but would otherwise be a starter) vs. the NL's top bench player.
