It's amazing how we are usually in every game this year.

In May we have lost 7 games:

3 of them have been 1 run games

3 of them have been 2 run games (all 3 of them by the score of 5-3)

1 of them has been more than 2 run games (9-0 to the Reds)

Great, isn't it? This is what it looks like when you are legitimately one of the best teams in baseball, not just a decent team hoping 88 wins is enough to sneak into the playoffs.

What does everyone think Fukudome's final line this year will be?

Remember to try to balance out your surely pessmistic thoughts of him right now.

.295/.398/.412 is my guess.

I may be biased, but I feel the Cubs are the most entertaining team in baseball.

I'll go with something similar, a little lower OBP and a little higher slugging. .285/385/440.

Compare that to the Cardinals who have lost 9:

2 of them are 1 run games

2 of them have been 2 run games

5 of them have been by more than 2 runs

Which is why we have the best run differential in baseball, and they aren't keeping up despite a lucky-hot start.

Still only 2 games behind though.

I was really surprised to note he had a .400 OBP on the season. He's so easy to not notice despite being a very good player.
