Thanks for doing this in 2006 when I picked you on pretty much all my fantasy teams, expecting 20 wins and an ERA near 3. Jerk.

It's amazing what command can do. You don't have to throw hard, be deceptive or have a nasty out pitch if you can put the ball exactly where you want it. Cliff Lee has been able to do that this year. He won't continue to be this good, but he'll likely finish with those 20 wins and ERA under 3.

I think some people were in favor of bringing Lee to the North Side a couple years ago when we got Lilly. Lilly's been good, but how would a deal for Lee be looking right about now?

I would love to see if there has been a difference on how umps are calling his pitches. I've always wondered if some pitchers get the calls over others on the exact same pitch. I think being around the plate the whole time will help but if you have a tossed around vet or rookie and Maddux, if there is any proof who gets the calls.

I read an article somewhere at the beggining of the season talking about the Indians rotation, and how it was solid, but that Cliff Lee was a questionmark. They were speculating how long it would be until Adam Miller was called up to replace him. ...yeah, they got that wrong.
