Does anyone know the name of that song that played during the video?

And does anyone have a link as to where I can watch it on the web?

Thanks.

I don't know where you can find the montage, sine they always get yanked off YouTube, but the song was Silverchair's (yes, them) "Straight Lines."

Anybody still hate One thing by Finger Eleven because of that 2004 WGN video?

:(

I've been looking for that video forever. It's so depressing. I remember I also broke up with my girlfriend the day that aired. Sweet.

Jesus that 04 Video is incredibly depressing, especially the last scene with the guy holding the "I thought this was 'the year'" sign.

Every time I see Nomar though I get all giddy. I had such a mancrush on that guy. To this day I still say that Nomar being a Cub, even though he was mostly hurt, is one of my favorite Cub moments of all time.

No doubt. That was awesome. Too bad that whole injury thing had to go down the way it did. I still drool thinking about what our infield could have looked like today:

1b- Lee

2b- DeRosa

SS- Nomar

3b- Aram

C- Soto

*DROOL*

...granted Nomar no longer has the range to play SS - but I wonder how much that would have changed if he would have been healthy.

I still can't get over how stacked that team looked on paper. Even with the injuries they still should have easily won the WC.

Look at the OPS's of the regulars that year

Lee- .860

Ramirez- .951

Walker/Grudz - .820/.779

Alou- .919

Sosa- .849

Barrett- .826

Nomar- .819

Patterson- .771

They were the second best team in the NL by Pythagorean record. Remember, their rotation for a good half the year was Wood, Prior, Zambrano, Clement, Maddux, and all of them performed above average. LaTroy Hawkins was a fantastic reliever, awful closer. Many ABs were wasted by Ramon Martinez, Jose Macias, Rey Ordonez, Tom Goodwin, Paul Bako and Alex Gonzalez. Their only bad reliever for the season was Joe Borowski.

It takes a special talent to manage that roster to the 6th best record in the NL.
