He could be an old school reliever and just finish games.

 

So If Dempster has a bad game and throws 100 pitches through 5 1/3, Harden can come in and pitch the next 3 2/3 innings to finish the game.

Good article from Chris De Luca regarding Piniellas questionable descisions come playoff time the last 2 years. The questionable decisions by Lou started with Howry making the playoff roster, and they just keep going and going so far. Lou has done a good job during the regular season for the most part(bullpen use not withstanding), but his playoff decisions have been, well moronic.
