...other teams? I'm looking over places like BP and I'm probably just being equal doses of blind and stupid, but I can't find such a breakdown.

Why would you want to see that? Very depressing information. I believe I heard the other day that there are only 2 teams that the Cubs have a lifetime winning percentage that is above .500.

Huh? The Cubs have a .514 lifetime winning percentage, and the second most overall wins in MLB history.

Just the NL teams that the Cubs have winning records against: Atlanta, Cincinnati, Colorado, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, San Diego, and St. Louis. Add the Mets if the Cubs win today and tomorrow, and they have a lifetime .500 even record against the Dodgers.

The Diamondbacks own the Cubs, though. And the Astros, Marlins, Nationals, Pirates and Giants.

I'm confused by your sentence? Are you saying you heard that the Cubs only have a winning record against two teams? Because those stats show more than that and the Cubs have an all time winning record. Although it doesn't cover the span of the franchise and post season.

Although if you are talking since WWII (1945), you'd be almost correct (Milwaukee, SD, Colorado)

I think this is probably what I heard. And it looks like I typed a 2 where I meant to type a 3 in my original post. Couldn't recall the teams, but seemed to remember hearing San Diego in the group.

Are you kidding me? The Cubs are going to be the 2nd team to 10,000 Career Franchise wins? But I'm sure ESPN would downplay that, behind the lifestory or Joba Chamberlain, and why he could kill Han Solo.

On a related note, the Cubs are only 3 wins away from 10,000 all-time wins.
Make that 1.

Fixed. :D

Make that 4, and add the Mets. :)
