Worst picture ever. Pau looks like he should have a wooden club in his hand and pulling a woman by his hair.

Good gosh, the Spurs have missed approximately 248691 layups and bunnies. Wow.

I know you had to like Farmar's block from behind and sick reverse layup, though.

I thought Farmar was going to look like a bonehead for forcing that break so much. Hell of a shot, though.

In other news, Kobe Bryant is way too good at basketball.

Another Farmar note, he's already made as many FG's in 1 1/2 games against San Antonio as he did in 6 games against Utah.

Not really a surprising result today as I figured the Spurs would win game 3. Game 4 will be the interesting one although I think it's about 70-30 that the Spurs will win.

Crawford and the refs screw over the Spurs yet again. Apparently an elbow to the head isn't a foul.

No, the refs didn't screw over the Spurs "yet again". Well, at least in this series. Manu Ginobili and his seven points on 2-for-8 shooting killed the Spurs today

I'll give you that the play at the end should have been a foul but Barry still would have had to sink both free throws (since it would have been a non-shooting foul) to send the game to overtime, though he is a good free throw shooter so he may have made both.

But it's not as if the Lakers didn't deserve to win that game. They were ahead the whole way and San Antonio couldn't make a big shot when it needed to. Duncan had a decent game but he didn't shoot the ball all that well and San Antonio needed a great game from Brent Barry just to stay close. If Pau could have made a free throw or two when they were up 7 with 50 seconds left and if Kobe wouldn't have taken a quick shot and would have pulled it out instead, the game wouldn't have even come down to whether Barry got fouled. And it shouldn't have.

The Lakers have been a better team in the series and deserve to be up 3-1 right now.

Mmm, the "yet again" comment was more at Crawford who kicked out Tim Duncan last year for the audacity of laughing on the bench.

I can't wait to see the refs' heads explode as they figure out who to give the fouls to in a Lakers-Celtics finals.

The Lakers deserve the fate of finding out if Barry could hit his free throws and whatever happened in overtime. No matter how well they played earlier in the game, Gasol missed free throws, Kobe took a stupid, wild shot late and Fisher committed a foul that he was lucky wasn't called. You can outplay a team a whole game and still lose.

Yeah, because the Lakers have been getting all the calls against the Spurs. That's why they've been even on fouls committed and free throws attempted. Oh yeah, and Kobe has attempted a grand total of six free throws in the series. I realize you hate the Lakers, but come on.

Damn Kobe is good but I can't stop hating him. Did anyone else catch his TNT interview right after the game talking about what happened down the stretch? Something about how Pau missed two big free throws and he took a shot that just rolled off which happens sometimes, but probably (understatement of the year) should have pulled it out.

No it wasn't just that the shot "rolled off". It was that you took one of the dumbest most ill-advised shots in the entire playoffs. Up 4 and could have run the game clock down under 20, but instead he takes this wild, falling out of bounds prayer after travelling with 17 seconds left on the shot clock.

It would have been nice if Barry had jumped into Fisher or dished it to a wide open Finley right at the line.

Well that sucks. The Pistons blew a great half by allowing a 16-4 run to close the half. Chauncey needs to wake up or sit. He played some terrible defense and was completely unaware of the clock at the end. McDyess isn't active tonight and Maxiell needs more minutes.

I hate Kendrick Perkins. I'm starting to really hate this entire Celtics team. And are they really showing this 3-year old piece about Rip's mask at halftime again? I'm expecting to see the Russell/Garnett interview again during halftime of game 6.

Damn. Terrible end to the first half only to be surpassed by an atrocious first 8+ minutes of the 3rd.

Thankfully Boston helped out by making a lot of mistakes down the stretch. They still got to the line too much though.

Perkins was just being dumb and Allen really didn't need to get hot. Pistons didn't get nearly enough from the frontcourt.

Pretty much a nightmare first quarter as the Spurs shot 63% while the Lakers shot 29%. Spurs up 13. Ugh.

Don't even act like you're concerned. Lakers will pull this off.

Believe me, after Game 1, I won't be concerned with a double digit deficit until at least the end of the third.

And it's down to 6 at the half despite the Lakers continuing to be outshot (51 to 39) from the field.

Thank God someone finally killed off the Spurs.

I hope you're happy when the Lakers have won about 4 NBA championships in a row.

I know. But for now, it's good to see the Spurs die.

I'll take 12-3 in the playoffs. And yeah, if I was a Laker hater, I'd be pissed right now, because the Lakers are only likely to get better with the return of Bynum last year...they'll just be unfair then.

And Kobe tried to quit this team. While a great player he is nothing more than an ass.
