Manny getting ejected should make the road easier for Millwood, but if I keep Gorzelanny benched I'm not sweating as much.

Great move by the Rangers. Millwood starts the game questionable, has 106 pitches through 6 and they put him back out for the 7th. 3 pitches later and 2 charged ER, the Dishmans lose much needed points.

Nice! My waiver claim went through for Heyward. Glad nobody ahead of me noticed he was out there!

I am so confused on what we do with minor leaguers. I thought we were doing what we did to end last season.

I wasn't sure either. For some reason I thought newly introduced players were going to a draft.

I was under the assumption that they went through the normal waiver process. I know Tim has gotten quite a few of them that way.

That was the reason I thought we went into the draft process last season.

The first week a player is in the league they have to go through the waiver process. I know that I am going to check out the recent additions each Saturday night.

Is there a place that lists the current waiver order?

And does it change each time someone claims a player off waivers?

I didn't want to waste a good waiver spot (if I currently have one) to pick up Kelvim Escobar, so I waited until he was a free agent this morning to pick him up. But, for future waiver claims, I'd like to know where I'm at and if it changes.

This year newly-added players are listed; they weren't before. Because of that (since everyone can easily find out by being diligent, which admittedly I'm not always) I also thought minor leaguers were subject to normal waiver procedures.

Anyone in the database can be claimed off waivers. I think it lists the waiver order on the add/drop page. The order resets with each waiver claim.

Jose Reyes wins it for the Raw Dawgs with a 9th inning single off Lidge's glove! David Wright didn't GIDP. Delgado left on deck for the Bashers. Perfect ending.

Found it, Juan. Thanks. Cool. I'm first on the waiver list. Quick, someone drop Pujols or the like.

You're 2-1 and near the top in points...how can you be first on the waiver list? Haven't we always done it in reverse order of record/points?

I checked the setup...it is currently set to "waiver order never resets - always based on prior waiver run"

if you like I can set it to "Every period based on reverse order of standings"

I'm dealing with the same problem to begin this season as I had last season. I'm scoring okay, but my opponents always break out the week they play my team.

I'm 3rd overall in points, but my opponents have outscored me. I'm sitting at 899.8 points and my opponents have scored 904. Hats off to Eyes Of Texas for the fine week they had this week.

how can you be first on the waiver list?

I'm crafty like that. I have noticed that a lot of players have been picked up through waivers already, so I would have guessed that I'd be somewhere close to the top of the list.

I also thought that the first waiver order was based on either the draft order or reverse draft order.

If everyone is 0-0 with zero points to start the season, how can you set a waiver order based on standings/points? If you set the waiver order based on last season, I'm guessing it would either be in draft order or reverse draft order.

IMO - First week waiver order should be based on the previous season standings - so same as draft order. Subsequent weeks should be based upon reverse standings / points.

The idea is that the teams struggling the most should get first crack at the players coming through waivers. Nothing else makes sense to me.

Is that the way it's done in the majors?

It doesn't matter to me that much, but I would think that a team that used their waiver claim for a player would then drop to the bottom of the list and everyone else would slide up a spot. Not that you could make that waiver claim and have the number 1 waiver claim again the next week when it reset itself again.

Are you saying waiver order resets every week?

TY, easily my best week since we have gone to the 7 start limit. Probably my best ever.
