Wang is my hero. =P~

you're fortunate wang [expletive] himself last night because my offense was actually somewhat productive. if wang had just put up a zero, i'd be down 10 with a one start advantage.

Hey.. question. SInce I have my 2 relievers in and then AJB came in for an inning last night, those points should be wiped clean shouldn't they? If you can't gain points by adding more than 7 starts, you shouldn't be able to lose points (or gain them) if one of your starters has to come in in relief in the 14th inning.

huh? oh, I see. I removed him from your lineup for yesterday so those points should disappear.

he doesn't want the negative points burnett put up as a reliever to count since he wouldn't have gotten to keep those points had they been positive.

Very true, which is the reason he's my hero. He may single-handedly give me a win this week.

20 point reduction to nc cubbies please.

nothing like looking to next week and seeing i have the pleasure of going up against double starts from both peavy and felix -- the two top scoring pitchers in the league.

I think that trade does definitely benefit both teams. I encouraged Matt to do it when I saw the offers. I definitely think you over value Ankiel though Chuck.

I'm willing to trade him for a minor leaguer?

I will say this about Ankiel, though. He hit 11 HR last year in less then 200 ABs. He already has 4 HR this year in 60AB.

He could be a 25 HR guy and a value to someone.

If someone would prefer Luke Scott I'd be willing to trade him and keep Ankiel.

If he played a position of higher demand then yes. However I don't see anyone keeping him on their roster at seasons end, and in the draft he is probably around a 5th round pick.

There's a few teams that Ankiel would be an upgrade at Utility for. He's certainly not a fantasy stud, but he's average to above average.

BTW, I think a players exemptions should start over if they are sent down to the minors and switched from P to a position player. Any objections? :D

CBS says Kendrick is on the DL, so I brought up Aybar.

If Kendrick can stay healthy I think he has a chance to break .400. I know, I know, but the guy can hit.

Suppan and McGowan both had good starts today, and I had them benched. Hopefully I made the right choice going with Santana over them for my final start this week.

Check. 32.5 points for Santana, plus 7 for Shields. The Angels were very good to me. :D

Almost a 50-point lead with one day remaining. I think I hear the fat lady singing.

I made a big comeback today to draw within five points of raisin. However, he's got two starters going tomorrow. If they have even average outings, he probably ices this thing.

And if I lose this thing, I'm blaming CC.

I picked up Derosa on waivers, so I benched Aybar.

All of this was due to Kendrick going on the DL.

It looks like I am going to win this week. I must confess that I am a bit surprised. After Buchholz blew his start, I thought I had no chance.

I'm down big even though I'm having a pretty average week compared to the other teams. Looks like there won't be any undefeated teams in our division starting in week 4. I do expect today to be a big scoring day for me, so I'm not counting myself out just yet.

Life sucks when the opposing team collects nearly 70 points between Todd Wellemeyer and Cliff Lee on one start each, no less.

Cliff Lee I am almost expecting great things from him again every start out. Wellemeyer was just pure luck, they reason I picked him up was because he was facing the Giants. Still not great to have three pitchers on the DL. I almost wanted to bench a starter today, but missed the deadline. Oh well. I lost week 1 because of missing a start and only having 6, so I am little scared to do it to begin with.

hard to win when a day with 5 pitching starts nets you negative pitching points.
