Today there are TWO games in Texas that nobody will attend!

Dusty Baker's Reds at Milwaukee Brewers 1:00

Harang (0-1, 2.77) at Villanueva (1-0, 3.38)

St. Louis Cardinals at San Francisco Giants 9:00

Wainwright (1-0, 2.25) at Correia (0-1, 6.00)

Astros with the day off; they start a three-game series with the Marlins tomorrow.

I'm probably gonna regret rooting for the Reds later on in the year when they prove to be our competition in the division instead of Milwaukee.

We are ahead of them, if we win out we are guaranteed to beat out the Reds.

I doubt that Corey Patterson continues his pace and I am sure Dusty will make enough bad decisions that we won't have to worry about them too much.

Their rotation looks pretty good, and there offense always does.

Dusty's negative effect might not show itself as much until later on. Like when those pitchers get hurt and when he has more of an influence on their overall roster.

Having Corey Patterson and Paul Bako on the roster with Jay Bruce in AAA is already an example of how Dusty's influence will hurt them. I don't care what a 10 game sampling says.

Platooning Votto is kinda odd as well.

I doubt Adam Dunn and Edwin Encarnacion continue to hit below .200.

Bruce is where he belongs right now, and Bako (who has a .481 OBP) is on the roster because Ross is hurt.

Let's not forget that soon Griffey will be hurt

You know better than to cite 10 days worth of stats. Especially when it's Paul Bako and his near .500 OBP.

The point really was Bako is only on the team because of injury. I'd rather has Bako as the Reds option behind Ross and Valentin then the likes of Chad Moeller and Ryan Jorgensen like it was last year.

It's awfully nice of the Phillies to go into extra innings the day before starting a series with the Cubs.

Werd. I'm rooting for this one to go about 23 or 24 innings.

Phils and Mets headed to the bottom of the 12th, still tied at 3.

I hope they go 20.

No such luck. Angel Pagan wins it with a single in the bottom of the 12th. Figures.
