Thats insane, the first thing I did growing up was grab the paper to see who did what the night before, and to see the standings. I still feel the same way.

 

I live in Chicago, and subscribe to EI just because of this. I watch all the random games I can.

Well I consider myself a hardcore fan, and yes hardcore fans do look at the standings this early. I belive every game counts and means something. But not everyone feels that way so I didn't want to make myslef feel un welcomed so fast

So it looks like Dusty has been threatened by Reds management that if Cueto throws more than 100 pitches, he doesn't get to talk about fishing when answering questions any more. Amazingly, that's 2 straight games, this one a close game, where he pulled him before he got to 100.

Yeah because we'll actually face Lincecum and Cain in our games. Plus Zito is a lefty so he'll automatically own us like he did last year.
