Why does Plesac think that Geo was known for his offense and struggled defensively throughout his minor league career? He brings up how impressed he is with the progress in Geo's defense during every spring broadcast I have seen.

Yea, Plesac was spouting that nonsense all last year. He was absolutely certain Kendall would start down the stretch, and then once the playoffs rolled around he once again was certain that Kendall would be the main guy because of Kendall's "superior" defense. Edited March 25, 2008 by David

Hill has probably missed his spot on 60% of the FBs right now, his curve has been impressive. I think he has his balance down, he needs to find the release point on the FB.
