boy this guy they are interviewing has no personality

It was hard to tell if he was nervous or just lame.

Sorry about that. I was nervous and Brenly smelled like tuna.

Brenly must have been busy last night then.

That was Peter Chase-the Cubs PR guy. He replaced Sharon Pannazzo-who apparently everyone hated, was a first class rude pain and no one was sad to see her go.

If anyone wants Marquis-they have a good game to see him dealing his stuff.

Fukodome is pretty skilled in the fundamentals and definite upgrade over Jacque with the arm in right.

We obviously still haven't learned to take pitches.

Bale - K looking, 1 down

DeJesus - E4, dero snubbed an easy one

Callapso - single to right, runners at 1st and 2nd

Teahan - DP 3-6-1, nicely turned

I hope Soto turns it up a notch once the regular season starts.

Personally, I am more worried about Soto over a full season than Pie going into the season.

Len says the plan is to have all 5 starters work and not let #5 sit and wait. A few off days in April.

Good 3-6-1 DP. Lee good throw, Theriot double clutched and Marquis covering first.

Marquis comes out after giving up a single in the top of the 5th. Good move-don't hurt his trade value. I thought it was a nice ST outing. Could be his last in a Cubs uni. Scott Eyre in with 0 outs.

14 games away from 10,000 wins. Giants only other team with that many.

Our A line-up is looking horrid today.

It's looked pretty bad all ST.

I know it's only spring training, but I think it's time Lou give this lineup some work and let them swing their way out of their slump. I don't buy the thinking that we'll just start hitting in two weeks in a frigid Wrigley Field.

The pitching and defense have looked solid for the most part, but the offense has been non-existent.

Yes, he's gone within a week.

Dusty would say it was playing in the cold weather, but I completely agree. Why not come out of ST swinging the bats well?
