3_way Proposal from Orioles Hangout

How about this 3 way deal with the Cubs and Angels??

Dave and other Cubs fans...Would Hendry trade Pie for Figgins? He seems to really be enamored by him. I know we talked about this before but can't remember if Pie was involved in those talks.

The Angels need pitching? They refused to part ways with Adenhart in a Miguel Cabrera deal, I doubt they'll give him up for Bedard.

I would do it, but I think the posters were right over there that taking into account perceived value means that the Cubs are giving up too little in that deal and the Angels are giving up too much.

 

Keep in mind (since many of the things we post on here are from Oriole insiders) that this did not come from an insider, but more a regular poster just speculating. Still an interesting idea though, and the teams do match up enough to be somewhat workable if the Angels found another third baseman somewhere.

I'd do it. Getting both Figgins and Roberts would make this offense worth watching.
