Well, let's keep in mind that when I started my first game thread, we were tied for first place after having lost two in a row to the Marlins, and the Cubs then proceeded to win the final game of the series before going on to sweep the Brewers at Wrigley North. Clearly this would not have happened if someone else was starting the threads. :wink:

That's a good argument. But I'm not so sure it beats Mark_R starting the game thread with the first Cubs no-hitter since 1972.
