Its not as good as the real thing but at least in my sim universe OBP is something the Cubs do indeed value.

OOTP looks similar to a sim I used to use about 20 years ago called MicroLeague Baseball.

I've been playing since OOTP3. It's a great baseball sim and online leagues are also a lot of fun. If nothing else, it helps pass the time in the offseason!

OOTP is light years past Micro League. It is text based so if you want pretty pictures it wont be for you. If you want to be a GM then it is for you. Every team but the Cubs shuts down for the holidays so this is why you have not heard anything. Tribune will not all the Cubs to close the offices like other teams do. MLB is even shut down.
