This could be fun to watch:

LaTroy Hawkins-R- Rockies Dec. 7 - 8:50 am et

According to the New York Daily News, the Yankees are talking to LaTroy Hawkins about a one-year deal worth between $3.25 and $3.5 million.

It's somewhat odd that Hawkins is apparently only getting one-year offers given that guys like J.C. Romero are getting three-year deals and 38-year-old Troy Percival inked a two-year contract. Hawkins is 35, but had a 3.42 ERA in 55 1/3 innings with the Rockies in 2007 and has posted a better-than-average ERA in six straight seasons.
