Wow Wisconsin just got absolutely raped on a call by the officials. Defender clearly had the ball first, they ruled it a "simultaenous catch."

 

17-7 Wisc.

 

 

I was wondering if that play was reviewable? I dont think it was as obvious as you did at full speed.

Pretty tough to play well when you're missing your starting QB and your heisman-candidate running back. The defense needs to show up though. They are playing like crap.

Tyler Donovan is handing it Michigan. Some of it Michigan's own undoing by poor tacking and wrapping up of him, but the other is Donovan making some real nice plays as well.

20-7 Badgers! Great to see the Badgers play so well. Its also great to see Michigan play so poorly.

 

Pretty tough to play well when you're missing your starting QB and your heisman-candidate running back. The defense needs to show up though. They are playing like crap.

 

Playing through injuries is always rough, and ask Wisconsin that too. They're missing their starting RB, starting WR, starting CB, starting DT and numerous guys on the OL are really banged up.

I think a lot of teams underestimate Donovan's ability to run from the pocket. He's very good in that aspect of the game. Michigan is having some trouble accounting for him.

It should be a shutout right now. 23-0. Only a terrible call by the refs has given Michigan any points whatsoever.

 

This is a team that will be playing for a BCS bid next week? That's a joke, and everyone knows it.

To their defense they are playing without their starting QB and RB. Wisconsin at home is a pretty tough game also.

 

Also since the little 11 is so bad it is interesting to see that if MSU, Iowa and NWestern win the Big Ten will have 10 bowl eligible teams. All 3 teams are winning

Michigan hasn't done anything today. They didn't even show up. So infuriating. Hopefully after they get killed next weekend by OSU Carr will finally be out of a job.

I give Michigan a 10% chance of winning next week it Henne isnt under center.

 

Mallett is supposed to be the future, but he's completely over his head right now. His last 6 or 7 passes haven't been anywhere near the mark. He's just firing it at hard as he can and praying it comes close to a WR.

That is true, although other teams are playing with injury it's not just Michigan. And as for Hart, he's always injured. I wouldn't touch him in the draft earlier than the 3rd round if I was a NFL scout. If you're pinning your hopes on an injury-prone player like Mike Hart, then you just aren't a very good football team. That's how I look at it.

What, you don't like those 5-yard outs or runs to the left every play?

 

Michigan has a bunch of weapons on offense, but call plays like they're Navy or something.

so the refs in the ND game just blew a call in 3 different ways at once. that's hard to do. He was down, it was a TD if he wasn't down, and the ball came out when his hand hit the GOAL LINE
