How Cheap Would Baldelli Be?

I would love to see the Cubs trade for Rocco Baldelli if the price was cheap enough. With his history of injuries, he might be very cheap and would be a great backup for Pie and Murton. See if they would go for Pignatello (or someone similar) for him.

Baldelli was once good. A few DL stints later he's very questionable. Unless it would be a very low cost, he might be worth a flyer. However, I would not acquire him with the intention of starting him.

Baldelli is quite good when he stays on the field, isn't he a ++ defender in CF?

Anyway, I don't really want any part of him with his injury history.

If we can get him for a bag of beans yes. There is a very real chance he hits .290/.325 with 25 hrs and 25 steals next year with +15 defense.
