Reports out of St. Louis claim LaRussa has signed on the dotted line as of early this morning. Press concerence today (Monday 10/22) at 1pm central time.

 

Still varying reports on if it's a two year contract, two plus an option or a full three years.

I'm glad to see this happen. The Cards need to "rebuild" in a big way, but that can happen whether Tony's there or not. You can't argue with his track record, or even this season's managing performance in wrangling 78 wins out of a team which scored 725 runs and allowed 829.

Well it looks like that may happen he was in St Louis over the weekend touring the city and the stadium. It looks as if he is the cards choice, so the job is his if he wants it.
