Marlins out to a 4-0 lead in the 1st inning. Glavine is pitching terribly.

Two on and there's still only 1 out.

Since I'm hoping there isn't a complete logjam for the NL East and the WC so two or three extra days aren't needed to play the games out (please don't push back Game 4) I'm hoping either the Padres win or, like appears to be happening, either the Mets or Phillies (or both) lose.

Jorge Sosa replaces Glavine. He gets Hanley Ramirez to strike out, but then Uggla hits a 2-run double. 7-0. Question now, can the Mets get out of the inning before the Marlins go 2 times through the lineup.

wow. 7-0.

looking like it will be Wrigley West.

unless the brewers and nationals can be spoilers...

plus...it is still early in that game...i know it sounds unrealistic, but the mets could conceivably come back...

Yeah, I hope everyone who shows up in Mesa in the Spring can make it down there.

Won't matter. If the Mets and Phillies both lose, the WC will either be the Padres or Rockies which means the Cubs would still play Arizona. The only way the Cubs won't play the D-Backs is if the both the Phillies and Mets make the playoffs (which would require both teams to win today).

I agree the games not over, but if the Mets lose it won't matter. it will take both Philly and the Mets winning in order to force a wild card playoff scenario where the Cubs would end up in either Philly or NY.

D-Train pitching like crap and the Mets are on the comeback. Bases loaded with 2 outs. 7-1 now. Willis just hit Delgado with a fastball on his hand. Delgado in serious pain.

Wow. Castro almost made it a 7-5 game, but flew out deep on the track for the 3rd out. 7-1 Marlins after 1.

Games update:

Philles beating the Gnats 3-0 in the 4th.

Marlins beating the Mets 7-1 going to the 4th. Mets have stranded 8 runners so far.

Padres beating the Brewers 3-0 in the 2nd.

The Mets. LOL.

It's so much fun to watch them fail.

You just know that ron is getting a woody watching all of this. Cubs come back from WAY down in the division; the mets let a huge lead crumble in the final month.

I love it.
