Has anyone heard this song? Link?

Suntimes

At 4:15 p.m. Sunday, the first inevitable tribute song appeared on the radio, a hip-hop version of ``Go Cubs Go'' that would have Steve Goodman spinning in his grave. The magic number is four, with a division title about to be clinched in front of 350 people in Miami's Dolphin Stadium, and I'm happy to say one of the stars of the Cubbie rap is Alfonso Soriano.

Hmmm, I just heard the song linked to the other thread and unless Mariotti is crazy (which could be the case) I don't hear Soriano rapping.

I think you just misunderstood the article. He says that Soriano "stars" in the song. I think it's just that his name was mentioned in the lyrics.

It's poorly worded. (shocking)

also I highly doubt only 350 people will be at Dolphin stadium. Their will be thousands of Cubs fans there, I also don't think they'll clinch there.

If crazy = stupid, then yes.

LOL, I hear ya...

I just figured out that the guy rapping is the same J. Roman from B96 radio (of Stylz and Roman fame for you Chicago people).

I think Mariotti got the story wrong.

I guess... Sori didn't star in it any more than D-Lee, Aramis, Z and Kerry Wood. lol

I think Jay was just adding some fluff to his story about Soriano
