In a surprise game-time decision, Ben Olson was benched for Pat Cowan who is coming back from the ankle injury. Don't know about the decision because the field looks awful because of the heavy rain we've gotten over the past 30 hours and the type of injury Cowan is coming back from.

I'm torn on this one...

 

UGA is 0-1 in the SEC East. Bama is 2-0 in the West, UK can beat UGA later on this year, tough game, but not impossible to win.

Where the eff was this defense last week? UCLA up 24-10 and Washington's sole TD came as a result of a fumble during a punt.

you know, I like South Florida. I think they are an up and coming team that probably is deserving of their ranking. but why has everything that has been said about their game in the articles and on the tv tonight about today's win as 'validating?' it was UNC. they are terrible.

Grrrrrrrrrreat. UCLA down to their third string QB (because Olson and Cowan are hurt), a walk-on by the name of McLeod Bethel-Thompson. Sigh.

Outside of that 80-yard crossing route (against Rodney Van, of course), the UCLA defense has been fantastic today.

Yeah, even if the RB is a better passer than the QB now, just keep handing off to the RB. Washington is struggling to stop the run even though they know that's all UCLA is going to do.

Great, Pat Cowan is out with a knee sprain. That better not morph into some sort of ACL/MCL tear. If Olson isn't ready for the next game, we might see Forcier take off his redshirt or Osaar Rasshan move back to QB (former QB who converted to WR this season).
