Wainright having issues finding the plate...that's a good sign..let's hope we can continue to work the counts and we should get some great pitches to hit.

let's also stop we stop trying to steal against struggling pitchers with good-throwing catchers behind the plate

Sori wanted to make up for doing something stupid like taking a walk. He was just trying to unclog first base, and guess what - it worked.

Lou just forgot that starting catchers are allowed to actually throw out runners. He just thought it was an automatic base

Understandable mistake.

How many pitches did Wainwright throw while allowing two walks, three baserunners, and zero runs score?

EDIt - missed vance's post - seemed like more than 22 to me.

Damn!

It would have been nice to score a run that inning.

22 pitches for Wainwright that inning.

Thats it? It seemed like he was really laboring. Is Wainwright hurt? Cards announcers were commenting on his 7 days off, how uncomfortable he looked and whether or not he is able to through a curve tonight.

With the recent success of the Reds, I'm really scared of those 2 series with them at the end of the month.

The Reds could have 1 win in the last month and those series would scare me.
