Isn't our magic number down to 19 with the Brewers loss today? For some reason, I thought it was 20 going into today.

I like the moving up of Jones and the dropping of Theriot because of how they've been playing lately. I don't really want to see Floyd playing, but he has had 2 straight good games (1 for 3 with a BB on Monday, and 2 for 3 with a BB last night) so hopefully he can put together a 3rd straight good game.

CUBS are 5-9 with Mike Reilly's umpiring crew on the field, and 0-4 with Reilly behind the plate

Free Murton and Soto, plz.

Ecspially; Soto. I think he can do a lot more damage than Murton, plus Soto would be replacing Kendall not exactly a great hitter. Although I would much rather have Murton playing than Floyd.

Posted
I'm all up for Soto starting... But I really hope he doesn't turn out to be one of those young players NSBB tends to greatly overrate... Corey Patterson, Jason Dubois, and Ronny Cedeno all come to mind.

If we don't crush Matt Albers, and win tonight, then we have no right winning this craptastic division.
Posted
Kendall, Murton and DeRosa would all be better options for #2 over Theriot or Jones.

Geovany Soto.

I definitely want to see what he can do, but I'd much rather have him start off lower in the order where there's at least a little less pressure.
