Colvin with a 2-run HR in the top of the first, Samardzija with a 2-run HR allowed in the bottom of the first. He does have 3 Ks through 2, though.

He won't. He had a setback in his latest rehab stint. I'm pretty sure he won't be back at all this season.

And I was completely wrong about that. He's in Iowa right now and is 2/10 in 3 games with the I-Cubs. But the point still remains. I hope he's not back at all this season.

His BB/K is awful, but he works deep into counts a lot of the time and is more than willing to strike out looking. (The same can be said for Drew Rundle.)
