Totally agree. How can they be surging with that staff?

 

They have been surging due to Reyes, Wells, and now Piniero all pitching well. Since the AS break Reyes has an ERA+ of 151, Wells has an ERA+ of 125, and Piniero has an ERA+ of 160 in his 3 start.

Which is ridiculous. But, par for the course for that franchise.

TLR and Satan agreed on a mid-season contract extension.

 

I dont see how it is any different then what Jacque is doing right now. None of them are as bad as they were early in the season, and none of them are as good as they are playing now.

Ha, I am sure you don't. Kip Wells isn't better than half of our AA staff right now. Piniero is terrible, but I am sure he will do just fine for you. Reyes is an ok pitcher. Looper is a reliever, a crap one at that. Congrats, once again you have overacheived, it must be nice to have this crap fall to you every single year.
