Lee & ARam need to start hitting homers, not just base hits. Yes their numbers may still be good, but they're expected to power in runs over the fence where they're hitting, not just knock out liners and expect someone else to drive them in.

this lineup is pathetic.

 

I'd rather Rammy get nights off than have a lineup without him and Soriano for an extended period of time.

I love how Lee keeps watching perfectly hittable pitches go by him.

 

DeRosa too. I love how DeRosa bends over to get a reeeeeall good look at is it lazily floats down the middle of the plate.

that's a depressing stat... homers in 10 straight games for the Stros. Have we homered in 10 games since the ASB?

 

I'm not sure about the 10 games part. The Cubs have 14 home runs since the All-Star Break-6 of those have come from Lee, 3 from Soriano, 2 from Theriot, 1 from Ramirez, 1 from Pagan, 1 from Koyie Hill

as long as he's not busting his butt down the line on a routine grounder or trying to stretch a double into a triple needlessly for the sake of appeasing the histle-mongers, i don't worry about him.
