Plenty of Crew fans thought Weeks would be very good player given time. It's not over for him, but this year has been terribly disappointing.

I guess I am more surprised that they are going to go with Counsell and Graffanino as neither are really hitting the ball all that well also.

 

Graffanino is a favorite of Ned Yosts though so who knows

Ryan Braun on the other hand....

 

Whether Weeks ever pans out or not, the Brewers have the potential to be very good for a long time with Fielder and Braun on the corners of their infield. Hardy isn't too bad either.

I'm pretty sure Fielder would be a FA after 2011. This is his 2nd full season. Hardy I believe would be after 2011 as well. Braun after 2013. So yeah, maybe we shouldn't wait around for them to be FAs. Though, I don't think Hardy is as good as he's been this year.

Other than April and May - Hardy has been downright awful this year. My roommate was talking crazy about Hardy for MVP in late May. I've really enjoyed watching his production drop off a cliff in June and July. :lol:

I haven't enjoyed watching everybody reject my frantic trade offers in May to dump him.
