Matt (Chicago, IL): Are the Cubs going to get a right handed hitting RF?? Maybe Dye? This is the biggest hole that I see for them.

Cubs have some intriguing young talent, question is whether they'll part with it, given how many holes they'll have to fill around their stars next season and going forward.

 

Personally I'd slot Matt Murton in there and let him hit, rather than letting Piniella jerk him around like he has. Murton's got a solid track record and could really help that team if they give him a shot. Yes, it seems riskier than making a deal. But why not try it, if the alternative is two months of mediocrity from a Payton type.
