I'm kind of in between with this game. It would be great to be .5 GB but then again the Cards would only be 6 GB.

 

So? Then we take over first by the end of next week and we build the lead up even bigger over both them and the Brewers. I understand it's the Cardinals and we hate them at all, but I want to be in first place, I don't care who has to win for us to make that happen.

After this next week (where the Cardinals play Pittsburgh and Washington) the three weeks after that they are home against SD, home against LAD, at Milwaukee, at the Cubs, home against the Marlins, home against the Braves.

 

I'd be shocked if they were in the race at the end of August with that schedule.

The Cardinals are not a threat. If they were to win the division, we might as well stop following baseball, because it would be clear God has something against us.

I'm not so sure. They took a mediocore team and won it all last year, becoming the worst team in baseball history to win the World Series. Never underestimate Tony LaRussa's compact with satan.
