Sorry if it's already been posted. I don't know why, but I really like the way this guy says it.

Sheffield is the guy who once admitted to committing errors to get traded out of Milwaukee. He’s a great talent playing for his seventh major-league team. You have as much talent as he does and still move around as much, there’s a reason, and it usually has to do not with the team, but with you.

He's another one of these guys who thinks everyone's trying to give him the shaft all the time.

What I find fascinating is how a couple years ago reports were that he refused to be traded to anyone because he wanted to stay with the Yanks so bad. Now he's sniping at Torre & the Yanks. Things must have changed pretty quick.

But wait a minute... I thought the different treatment from Torre started the day he reported as a Yankee. Weird... :-k

I wish the Cubs would have given the Yankees a sore arm pitcher for him than given Soriano 8 yrs.

Of course he is an idiot. Smart teams can focus on what he brings instead of the idiot factor. Like Rodman with the Bulls.

it reminds me of how Bonds constantly infers that people treat him differently because he's black......you know, the people in the gated community of millionaires where he grew up

I would take his bat for a playoff run, but alas, Shef would feel he's being used because he's black and refuse.
