Guess it was worse than it looked today. Rotoworld says:

Bill Hall was diagnosed with a high right ankle sprain after landing awkwardly while trying to rob Ryan Doumit of a homer in Tuesday's game.

A high ankle sprain can by a 6-8 week injury, though the Brewers refused to place a timetable on him today. They'll likely recall Tony Gwynn Jr. and have him share time with Gabe Gross in center field until Hall return. Corey Hart can also play some center, which would open up right field for Kevin Mench. The way those two guys have been lately, the Brewers could get through this injury without a blink.

Nah, Mench is a disaster against RHP. This would definitely be good news for us.

High ankle sprains are always awful news. They'll survive the ankle injury to Hall.

Tony Gwynn Jr. is also available.

I had a really bad high ankle sprain over five years ago, and my ankle has never healed, fully.

Hall was not critical at all during their sprint out of the gate. He sucked, and they still went on a tear.

I don't expect they'll slow down much here and they'll probably get better defense in CF.

Wow, it's a lot worse than I expected. I hate to be happy about injuries, but this could be good news for the cubs....Ben sheets or fielder wouldn't be too bad either....

real sprains suck. the term "sprain" gets thrown out a lot with ankles when the injury is really more of a twist or a strain.

I sprained the top of my left foot back in '03 (entire foot turned black and blue, etc.) and it still hurts now and again (i can feel it right now, actually). ligament and tendon injuries suck bad
